Lynda (birth spelling Linda) was daughter of Sherwin and Barbara Babcock Barton. She had two older sisters: Sharon Barton (1944-1999) BHS '62 and Nancy Barton, BHS '65.

In memory of one of my best friends Lynda Barton Hewitt who sadly passed away last Sunday, December 4, 2022. Mother of Kelly, Mike and Bethany. More info to follow, Any memories will be appreciated.

Mike her son wrote on Facebook a few days ago...

My mom passed peacefully in her sleep this morning at around 9am.  She lived her life on her own terms, without exception. RIP Mom.  My heart is less full today without you here. Off to the big party in the sky!  Until we meet again.
