Jim Grasse, BHS '67 (1949-2024)

 James Palmer Grasse
January 4, 1949 - June 30, 2024

This is totally heartbreaking... Jim, you will be greatly missed by so many and we send our deepest condolences to the Grasse family. Jim was one of a kind who ALWAYS was willing to help anyone in need and if he couldn't, he would find someone who could! You'll always be in our hearts, Jim...

A post with photos from Facebook yesterday

Today, at 1:23 pm, our Dad, Jim Grasse, passed away peacefully after a battle with an aggressive form of dementia. I was with my Dad until the end, and I can tell you he is at peace now and pain-free.
He was the most amazing father a kid could have ever asked for. He was the most amazing human being, with the spirit of a giant. Always smiling, always willing to help someone, and always wanting to get to the next adventure. I will always remember everything he ever taught me.
We are all going to miss that amazing smile and that incredible personality that lit up any room.
Details regarding his funeral will be posted at a later date.
Please feel free to share in the comments your best memory of our Dad.
