Meeting Up with Burbank Friends

After Dona (Foy) Bruckner picked me up at the Burbank Bob Hope Airport, we met up with Sara (Marino) Becaria at Starbucks, got caught up and then went to dinner at the Elephant Bar - a GREAT time!

Sara and I were best of friends at Miller when she lived on Cedar across the street from the school. Then her family moved to Orange Grove and there she became Dona's buddy in junior high!

Today, Sara and her husband Eddie live in Burbank and have two grown sons. We had such a fun visit!

A couple of weeks ago, Dona met up with Sara, Shelly (Perez) Lucero and Pam (Hawkins) Swan - a blast from the past for sure! Turns out Pam lives 10 minutes from Dona and Shelly lives in Burbank where she and her husband have the Clubhouse Grill at DeBell golf course which has a wonderful menu including the delcious Smoke House garlic bread! An interesting note, each of these four moms have two sons.
