More Fishing News!

Last month, Diana Ziegler Larsen forwarded an email from her son, Andrew (on left in 1st pic) and she said I could post it, so here it is!

Hello everyone,

HOT FISHING RIGHT NOW.

Its Andrew Larsen with King Me Fishing. We have been experiencing good fishing for Spring Chinook Salmon lately and limits are common. I have been fishing in the Portland/Vancouver area of the Columbia River and will be following the fish up river through May. Fishing from Bonneville Dam to the I-5 Bridge will stay open until the end of April, so call to check availability.

The Lower Columbia fished excellent through September last summer with minimal crowds after Labor Day. Despite a less than stellar year At Tillamook Bay many experienced good catches of large fall Chinook. Don’t forget to get out on the water when making your way to the North Coast this late summer and fall.

For my Alaskan clients or those who have been meaning to make it up there. Dates are filling in fast. I am predicting a good run. The year of 03, 04, 05 where amazing fishing years and their offspring will be returning for the next three years with the majority of the 2003 spawn returning this summer.

Tight lines,
Andrew Larsen
